# Automatic + AmpliFi

Initial development for the Automatic Exchange for Perpetual Futures was funded in-part by AmpliFi DeFi through a $75,000 Treasury Grant. Automatic is an independent project which operates independently of AmpliFi, though complementary to it.

Each project is guided by their own respective community governance procedures and voting. These partner projects share overlap through their operations' teams, while each protocol maintains a separate Development team and separate governance structures.

Both Automatic and AmpliFi are technically, developmentally, and operationally independent from one another.
